Table of Contents
A profile is one of the main foundations of MC Trade, where all important information is kept for individual and organization profiles, including contact info, associated organizations and individuals, and more. The Profile drop-down menu provides access to many important tools for a profile, including the profile selector, profile change requests, benefits management, etc.
Select Profiles
This option leads to the Profile Selector, an important tool for searching and filtering profiles in the MC Trade database. There are many filters available to narrow down the search and pull the exact profile data required.

Profile Change Requests
All requests for profile changes are found here. Whether a profile requests to change their address, contact information, related profiles, etc.

Front Desk Referrals
The Front Desk tool is used to look up member information for those seeking referrals to businesses in the community. The Front Desk tool completes two important tasks:
- Finding and promoting members to visitors and other inquirers
- Tracking and Communicating those Referrals out to Members

Add a Member / Add a Prospect
This option is a shortcut to creating a new profile. It will open a new profile window. Select whether the profile is an Organisation or Individual, and whether it is a non-member, member, or prospect.
A Member is a profile paying membership dues to receive certain benefits. A Prospect is a profile that could potentially become a member in the future. A Non-member is a profile that is not currently linked to any membership.

Drop Members
The Drop Members feature is used to drop multiple members in bulk, which will remove their membership status (or switch the profile to a non-member). Select the members you wish to drop, then select the Drop Selected Members button at the top right of the screen.
Click Here for more information on dropping members.
Benefits Management
The Benefits Management section can be used to manage benefits assigned to profiles using different Membership Levels
Benefits can be configured and tracked independently of the Membership Level Management, but the best practice is to assign benefits to different levels to be automatically updated throughout the database.
Common benefits include discounts for products or services, access to resources, networking opportunities, and more.

Sales Opportunities
Sales Opportunities are a way to track potential sales and manage relationships with members and prospects. The Sales Opportunity page displays the Sales Pipeline and shows all open and closed Sales Opportunities associated with a profile. It also provides options to create new sales opportunities or to edit or delete existing ones.

Tasks
Tasks are reminders that can be self-assigned or assigned to another user. Each task has a due date and can be linked to a profile. Tasks are created individually or in bulk by generating a project template.
For example, a Collections task could be assigned as a reminder for a Treasurer to collect overdue dues payments.

Committees
Committees can be set up to track any group that meets regularly, whether it's a board of directors, a topic-based task force, or any other group that requires regular meetings. The Committees feature is the best way to track member participation and join dates, attendance, notes, and more.

Contact Records
This shows contact records that were added to the profile manually or added automatically from a sent email. The contacts are displayed with the most recent at the top and include who was contacted, the date of the contact, the subject, the first line of the description, the contact type, and who initiated it.
Search by the user that recorded the contact record, contact date, keywords, etc.
