Adding a Membership Level
- Click on the Admin menu and Membership Level Management.
- Click Add a Level.
- Enter a Name.
- Click on any of the tabs (left side) and configure it. See breakdown.
When this membership level is assigned to a profile, all of these settings will be automatically assigned. If that member later changes to a different level, it will ask if you want the new level to update all of the settings or not update it so that you can update it manually.
- Click Save when you are finished.
Editing a Membership Level
- Click on the Admin menu and Membership Level Management.
- Find the level that you want to edit and click Edit.
- Make all of your desired changes and then click Save.
- It will ask you if you want to apply these changes to all profiles that currently belong to this level.
- If you want all profiles to be updated then place a check next to Yes, update profiles, and enter your e-mail address to receive a notification when it finishes. Then click Yes, Update Profiles.
- If you do not want all profiles to be updated then click No, Save Settings Only.
If you tell it to update the profiles, only changes that you made will trickle down. For example, if you only make changes to the Benefits tab then it will only update the Benefits tab. It will not push all of the tabs. Click here for more questions about managing membership levels.
This process may take some time, depending on how many members belong to this level, which is why the system will send you a notification when the updates are complete.

Breakdown of Tabs
Profile Info
Profile Status codes can be as basic as Active and Inactive or more specific (e.g., Gold Member).
This tab allows you to set a Profile Status. To set this, place a check next to "Change" and choose from the drop down list. Profile Status codes are codes that you would create.
Billing
This tab allows you to set up one or more recurring billing records. This is usually a dues item, but you can create additional billing records that are non-dues.
Click here for more information (steps 5-11) and then return to this article.
Affiliation Codes
This tab allows you to assign one or more affiliation codes to the member (top two panels) and/or assign one or more affiliation codes to profiles related to the member (bottom two panels).
If the member is assigned to a different level or drops, these codes will be removed from the related profiles as well.
Affiliation codes are codes that you would create. Some examples include different committees, mailing lists, or subscriptions.
To assign, select the code from the Available Affiliation Codes panel (left side) and click the right arrow so that it appears in the Selected Affiliation Codes panel (right side).
You can select multiple items at a time by holding the Ctrl key.
If it is not allowing you to add it, it may be that you are trying to add an affiliation type. In the example below, anything that has an arrow next to it is an affiliation type. If you click on it, it expands, and you can see the affiliation codes that are under that type.
Listing
This tab allows you to set a default value for Listing Type, Listing Detail Type, and/or Position so that when you are adding listings to a member with this membership level, the fields are automatically set.
The listings determine how the member will appear in the online directory.
Place a check next to Override Listing Types and Position, and choose the Listing Type, Listing Detail Type, and/or Position (the third field).
Member Activity
This tab allows you to set the Member Activity code, so that member activity is logged when this level is assigned. Member Activity codes are codes that you would create.
Benefits
This tab allows you to add benefits. This is based on benefits that you create (under the Profiles menu and Benefit Management).
