Introduction

The Events tab is found in the Data Insights interface.

It contains two tabs with different sets of Events-related data.

• Events shows basic summary information for your member profiles.
• Metrics shows an evaluation of event data against key metrics such as membership status, level, and years as a member.

To prevent performance issues, your data is not being pulled in real-time. It is pulled nightly.

There are controls that change the behavior of every panel and panel options to see more information or to export that panel. Click here for more information.

Events Tab

Registration Count by Event Type

This finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab. It then group the signups by Event Type (y-axis) and calculates the total event signups per type (x-axis).

Move the mouse over each bar to see the specific total.

Revenue by Event Type

This finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab. It then groups the signups by Event Type (y-axis) and calculates the total revenue per type (x-axis).

Member vs Non-Member Event Signups

It finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab. It then groups the signups by member and non-member profiles and calculates the total event signups (y-axis)  for each group during the timeframe at the bottom (x-axis).

Move the mouse over each line to see the specific total.

Average Registration Days Prior to Event by Event Type

This finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab. It then groups the signups by member and non-member profiles and calculates each's group's average registration days prior to the event for each event type (x-axis).

Registration days prior to the event is the difference between the signup date and event date.

Move the mouse over each line to see the specific total.

Sponsorship vs Signup Revenue Totals

This finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab. It then groups by signups for event items with sponsorships and signups for event items without sponsorships (registrations). Finally, it calculates the total adjusted line item amount for invoices tied to each group.

Event Revenue by Revenue Item

It finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab. It then finds all invoices tied to those signups and groups them by the revenue item. Finally, it calculates the total adjusted line item amount for each group.

Move the mouse over each slice to see the specific total.

In the example above, moving it over the Annual Dinner Sponsor, shows “100 (6%)” which means a total of $100 for that revenue type (6% of all event revenue).

Event Attendance by Membership Level

This finds all event signups by member profiles and with event dates that fall within the date range at the top of the tab. It then groups those signups by the profile’s membership level and calculates the total event signups for each membership level.

Event Revenue by Membership Level

This finds all event signups by member profiles and with event dates that fall within the date range at the top of the tab. It then finds the invoices tied to those signups. It groups these invoices by the profile’s membership level and then calculates the total adjusted line item amount per group.

Event Attendance by Years as a Member

This finds all event signups by member profiles and with event dates that fall within the date range at the top of the tab. It then calculates the number of members for each member age that attended these events.

Member age is how long (in years) the profile has been a member based on the Member Since date.

Event Revenue by Years as a Member

This finds all event signups by member profiles and with event dates that fall within the date range at the top of the tab. It then finds the invoices tied to those signups.

It groups these invoices by the profile’s member age and calculates the total adjusted line item amount per group.

Member age is how long (in years) the profile has been a member based on the Member Since date.

This finds all event signups with an event date that falls within the date range at the top of the tab.

It then groups the signups by member and non-member profiles and calculates the total number of signups (y-axis) per event type (x-axis).
