In MC Trade, Contacts are moments of interaction: an onsite visit, an email, a phone call, etc. By recording every interaction with a member, MC Trade accurately represents the relationship and history with that member.
Contacts can be created in a number of ways:
- Manually on a Profile Record
- In bulk from the Communicator by sending an email
- Dynamically from an external email tool with CopyMe
Follow these steps to manually create a Contact Record on a Profile:
- Search for and open the relevant profile.
- Scroll down to the Recent Contacts, and select Add a Contact.

Select the Contact Type to document what type of interaction it was.

- Identify who the interaction was with in the Communicated With: drop-down menu.
- Describe the Subject of the conversation in the Subject field.
- Describe the Contact in the Description field.
Optional: If there should be a follow-up activity scheduled, select the Create Task checkbox to generate a new Task. - Select Save.
