Running a trace route can be an important step in troubleshooting, and shows the path the data takes to go from an admin's computer to its destination server. This may be requested by our team for further information during troubleshooting.
Run a Trace Route
To run a trace route, begin by opening a window and typing cmd to open Command Prompt.
At the cursor, type: tracert api-internal.weblinkconnect.com
Press enter.
Wait for the confirmation message to say "trace complete".
If the trace route must be completed with a different link, use the same steps, but type 'tracert (new link)'.
