As part of our commitment to your success, we're happy to announce several improvements to MC Trade to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. We will roll out these changes to all customers on March 12th, 2025.
PUBLIC REGISTRATION UPDATE
With this release, we were able to remove the pre-authorization $0.01 transaction from the event registration workflow, returning the registration to previous functionality in which the registration is only completed if the credit card is charged successfully initially. If a card is declined by the gateway, no registration will be created and the registrant will need to resubmit after correcting the card information. This resolves all outstanding bugs/issues with the registration submission flow when charging credit cards.
Directory Header Image/Color Overlay
To resolve the issue of a purple overlay appearing on the directory header image, we've introduced a new setting called "Header Alpha (Transparency)" in the Directory settings. This allows you to control the transparency of the Header Color. To prevent any color overlay from appearing on the directory header image, set the Header Alpha (Transparency) to 0.
Updated Coupon Submission Notifications
A new setting has been added under Global Settings that allows admin to designate which email receives notification of a coupon being submitted for approval, separate from other portal notification emails.
This release includes the following enhancements and fixes:
- Fixed an issue where event benefits were not applied correctly when two or more different event items were selected
- Fixed an issue causing ACH payment errors when the account name exceeded 25 characters
- Fixed an issue with back office event cards displaying event dates as one day earlier than expected
- Fixed a bug that allowed profiles assigned to anonymous online purchases to be deleted
- Fixed an issue where fields that were required during event registration were not required when attendees were editing their registration in the member portal
- Fixed an issue where including special characters in the "Number" custom field prevented event registration from being submitted
- Fixed an issue causing timeouts and generic object errors during event registration deletions
- Fixed an issue preventing event confirmation emails from being previewed
- Fixed an issue where event end dates were not displayed in the member portal during registration
