Desktop Connect for Financial Integrations

Use the Desktop Connect application to connect directly with your desktop-based accounting software and safely sync your financial transactions.

Installation instructions for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10

If you already log in to the full desktop version of MC Trade (Atlas), and you would like to switch over to use the supported Desktop Connect version at any point, please contact the Help team to have them make this change for you.

IF you already have an active integration with QB Desktop or GP Dynamics, when you log in to the desktop application after March 31 you will automatically see the new Desktop Connect version of MC Trade. QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics will continue to be supported on an updated version of the installed desktop application after March 31. Desktop Connect contains only the screens necessary for connecting directly with QuickBooks Desktop and/or Great Plains Dynamics (or Intacct):

  • Post Transactions: review and send journal entries to your accounting software

  • Accounting Package configuration: test your connection with your accounting software

  • Account Code Import and code setup: import and assign Accounts from your accounting software

Please note that if you use QuickBooks Desktop, Great Plains, or Intacct but do not actually sync/connect data to it through MC Trade, you do not need to use Desktop Connect at all and can post your transactions through the browser version of MC Trade.
