While you can always add a simply hyperlink to any of your web content to download a document (see instructions here), sometimes you may want to embed the full, actual document within your content just as you would an image. You can do this using the "Document" element under the Media section of your build/edit screen.
Drag the Document element from the left to the area of the page where you want the document displayed:
After a moment, the Document window will open and display a message: "This is a blank document. To upload a new document, click here and select Upload a New File." Click the message and then the upload button.
Your local file directory will open. Double-click on the file you would like to open (PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.). The screen will display a status box while the document uploads, then will update itself to display the actual content of the document within the box:
*NOTE: if the document is longer than the default box that gets displayed on your website, a scrollbar will appear on the right of the document, as in the example above. When in edit mode, you will not be able to scroll through your document. To view the document in full and scroll through multiple pages, click the orange Preview button in the upper right of the screen.
