This article will explain how to create unique pages within Classroom where you can display only packages tagged with a particular tag name, and adding those pages to your menu as drop-downs.
Creating a Page
To create a page, you will start within the Packages area of the site. Within each package, there is an area at the very bottom to create "Tags". Each tag you create can represent one page within your site.
Now that you have a tag created to represent a page, you can then add this page to your menu.
Adding a Page to your Menu
From the Admin Dashboard, click the Settings gear icon in your menu bar at the top right of the screen. On the next page, scroll to the bottom and click on the "Menu Builder" link
From here, you will click the plus icon under the Course List menu item to create a drop-down menu item beneath it (Note: if you would like to add a new menu item instead, you will first click the orange "Add" button at the top left, and then do the following steps).
Then, you will name the menu item you just created. Remember that what you name it here is what your users will see on the menu on the front end of your site.
Next, you will click the link icon under the new menu item you have created
On the page that pops up, you will then see a list of all pages within your site. Any tags you have created will be listed there as well by the name of the tag itself. You will select this by checking the box next to that page
Finally, make sure to click the orange "Save" button on the menu builder page to save your changes
Now when you navigate back to the front end of your site, you will see the new menu item you've created (if you created your page as a drop-down below the existing menu item, it will appear when you hover over that item. If you created a new menu item, it will display alongside existing items.) When clicked, you will be taken to a page where all packages tagged with that particular tag will be displayed.
