Add a Committee Affiliation Code

Committees require an assigned Affiliation code, in order to make searching for committee members in the Profile Selector easy and flexible. Therefore, prior to creating a committee, you must set up a new Affiliation code for it in your Admin section.

1. Go to Admin > Manage Codes, then click Profile Codes > Affiliation Codes.
2. Click Add an Affiliation Code. 
3. Enter the name of the Affiliation. This should be exactly the same as the name of the committee, for consistency and ease of use. You can enter the committee name as the Affiliation Description as well.
4. Set the Affiliation Type (usually this will be "Committees"). 
5. Click Save. 

The code will now be available for you to assign to the committee when you create it (you'll need to refresh the committee page if you'd already loaded it to see the new Affiliation code).
