Managing Coupon Submissions or Changes

When a coupon is created or edited online, it needs to be approved to appear on your website. You can also edit any Coupon that has already been submitted. An email is sent to the admin person listed in the Coupon Type whenever there is a Coupon pending approval.

Follow these steps to Manage Coupon Submissions:

  1. Go to Communication > Web > Coupons.  The Coupons window will appear.

  2. Adjust the Date Ranges in the View Coupons Changed From area, or select a Status or Profile Option. Only Profiles with a Coup will appear ion the Profile drop-down menu.

  3. Select the coupon you want to approve. (To select multiple coupons, CRLT+CLICK).

  4. Right-click in the datagrid and select Flag Selected Coupons As Approved. (This will flag all coupons that you have selected).

    Note: Right-click in the datagrid and select Flag Selected Coupons As Unapproved if you want to deactivate a Coupon from appearing on your website.

    Note: the "Approved" or "Unapproved" checkmarks will not save automatically. Once you are done with all changes, right-click again and select Save All Changes.
  5. (Optional) You can also make any of the following edit to individual coupons: 

    • Change the Coupon Type by selecting the Coupon Type drop-down menu

    • Edit the text in any field by clicking and typing in the field

  6. Once you are done making edits, right-click again and select Save All Changes.  The coupon will now appear on the coupon list and in the member’s directory listing (if you’ve set the coupon type admin setting to appear in the public directory).
