The Listings by Category Report creates a customized list of profiles belonging to one or many different listing categories.
This report can be used as a periodic audit tool to ensure the integrity of your listings data. The contents of this report can be quickly exported to other data formats (MS Excel, etc.) making it easy to pass off information to other entities, such as print directory publishers.
How to Run
From the File Menu, choose Reports > Member Reports > Directory Reports > Listings by Category
Upon running the report, it will prompt you for the following parameters:
- Please select 1 or more categories (Category) - enter a range of categories (from X......to Y). The Start Range and End Range are basically asking for starting letter alphabetically you’d like the categories to start with and the End Range is the ending letter. For example to list all categories “A – E” you would enter “A” in the Start Range field and “E” in the End Range and then click on “Add Range” and then “Ok” at the bottom to run the report. You also have the option of selecting individual categories from the list of Available Values.
- Select the listings that you want to see (Listings) - Choose which types of listings that you wish to include in the report: "Active Members Only" or "All Active Listings" (Many organizations choose to display Directory Listings of non-members. This is typically for prospecting purposes, but could also be used to fill a gap in your membership list.)
