How to Use Your Own Non Standard Registration Process for an Event

This article only relates to the Legacy Event Module, which was replaced in 2013. Only use this article if you use the old Event Module.



We would like to use our own form for event registration. Is there a way to do this in WebLink?


If you set the event up within WebLink, but don't want to use our standard registration process, go the Settings tab (near the Description tab), you can paste your own registration URL into the Special Registration URL field. That way, people can view the event on your calendar and click to view the details, but once they click to Register they'll be redirected to your URL. Keep in mind that no registration information would be entered into WebLink, so no invoices, payment, etc. would be entered to track and report on.
