In order to be successful, it’s important that your MC Trade database has thorough and relatively “clean” data going back at least a few years, to ensure the tools can accurately analyze your information. No database is perfect, but there are some baseline requirements to be able to properly use most features. Please review the list below:
Core data:

Membership Levels are used and are assigned to a significant portion of member profiles

Most members have a valid Member Since date and Member Activities (join/drop)

Dues invoices are generated, paid, and tracked through MC Trade, including write offs

Event registration and revenue is managed in MC Trade
-
Membership, Revenue, and Events data goes back at least 3 years (converted data included)
Engagement data (optional but helpful for retention analytics)

Emails sent out of MC Trade regularly (invoice reminders, welcome emails, event invitations/reminders)
-
Contact records are tracked, including CopyMe

All/most of the MC Trade Web Components are used, including the Member Portal
If you do NOT meet most of the recommended requirements outlined above, you will likely find many of our standard analytics in Data Insights aren’t complete or as useful as they could be.
