As part of our commitment to excellence and customer success, we’re happy to announce several enhancements and improvements to WebLink Connect to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. As with previous releases, we will roll out these changes in stages beginning Tuesday, March 13. All customers will have the release by Monday, March 19.
WebLink Local (Online Directory) Performance Enhancements
With this release, we've made the process of loading your online member directory "smarter." This means we’ve improved load times for your larger category pages. The changes involve how a web browser remembers your categories, so that if data in the listings of a certain category has not changed since the last time someone viewed it, it loads a cached version. Don't worry! All changes to members, listings and categories will still show up on your site as soon as you save them!
Standard Report Update
You have access to hundreds of standard presentation-style reports in WebLink, and with this release we've given them a makeover! On many of the standard reports, you'll notice a cleaner and more consistent look and feel. Note that to receive the updated reports, each user will need to run a report download - click here for more information.
Entity Support on Event Registration Pages
For associations managing multiple entities, your public event registration pages will now display the name of the entity associated with an event at the top of the page instead of your default association name. This will also apply to the registration login page.
Developer Website for Public API Third Party Developers
We are excited to announce a new web resource for third-party developers working with WebLink's Public REST API: http://developers.weblinkconnect.com. On this site you'll find our authorization developer's guide, endpoint reference, and other helpful resources for working with the REST API.
The following bug fixes were also included in this release:
- Fixed an issue preventing some online directory filters from displaying
- Fixed an issue with removing selected email addresses from the browser mass communicator
- Fixed an error deleting profiles that have VoterVoice data in them
