With our January software update**, our Alpha Join Form builder and submission form will receive the following updates:
- New "Form Settings" option at the top of the form, to set your payment options (Bill Me or Credit Card), and choose Member Activity Type to use when new members are created.
- Helpful hint: set up a new Member Activity Type called "Online Join Form" so you can easily segment new members who joined online.

- Profile Address has been added as a Field Type, allowing you to add a Billing and/or Mailing address to the form in addition to the default member address.
- Custom Fields have been added as a Field Type, so you can select from your organization's custom fields and allow the new member to enter a value when submitting the form. This is automatically populated in the new profile when they join.
- Category Listing Field Types have had subcategories, description, and keyword options added when including in the join form. The public form has also been updated to allow the new member to add multiple listing categories.
- Additional Purchase Items now allows you to choose a specific, overriding price instead of using the default price from the revenue item. (You will need to remove any existing items and add a new one to be able to use this feature).
- Membership Level pricing will now add Tax line items for any taxable billing items listed in the Membership Level setup. Tax on Additional Purchase Items is coming soon.
- If you use a basic Automatic Revenue Calculation (ARC) in your Membership Levels, and the field your ARC uses to calculate your dues is included in the form (such as Number of FT Employees), you can set the form to dynamically update pricing based on that ARC formula. If you don't yet use ARCs in your Membership Levels but would like to explore that option, contact lauren.bashaw@memberclicks.com.
**Note: the first time you load the form builder after the release, it will take an extra minute or so to load. This can also happen if you've been logged out for awhile, or cleared your browser cache since last visiting the form. Don't worry, your form is still there! We're working on some performance improvements to eliminate this issue.
Next up: our next round of improvements will include some basic options for styling your public form, and Tax calculations on all Additional Purchase Items.
