Release Notice - 16.9 - 9/13/2016

As part of our commitment to excellence and customer success, we’re happy to announce several enhancements and improvements to WebLink Connect to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. As with previous releases, we will roll out these changes in stages beginning Tuesday, September 13.  All customers will have the release by Tuesday, September 20.


Edit Profiles and Relationships in your web browser

Since May of last year when we launched our WebLink Connect web browser access, we've been adding more and more features available to users by logging in to With this release, we are pleased to announce an all-new interface to edit profile information as well as manage and edit related profiles in the browser! The simple interface gives you access to more profile features than ever before, allowing you to update member contact information, social media networks, billing and listing information, and more from any browser, including on your phone or tablet! Quickly update a member's main contact person, add a business description or upgrade a listing level, record their facebook and twitter pages, and more.



Contact Record for Emailed Receipts

With the new ability to send emailed receipts from the Transaction tab of a profile or the Payment Selector (click here for details), we've received feedback from you that you'd like to see a record of that receipt being sent. We hear you! This release will now give you the option to create a Contact on the profile to which you are sending a receipt, choose a specific Contact Type and record the date sent, as well as who sent the receipt and who you sent it to. You also have the option to continue sending emailed receipts without creating a Contact for any specific payment.



Optimized Scaling for over 100% Magnification

The WebLink desktop application can now be used with screen settings viewing your display at greater than 100% magnification, for most displays/resolutions. Based on your feedback, we have been working on general improvements to the scaling and display of WebLink Connect for the many different types of monitors/tablets you may be using to view WebLink. Improving the display of the desktop application for 125% zoom (and higher) is the first step in this process. *Note that WebLink's scaling may not be optimized for every combination of screen sizes/resolutions/magnifications.

Bug Fixes and Other Improvements:

  • Added the ability for individual-based organizations to have a member's related organization auto-populate in an event registration
  • Fixed an issue with posting Line Item Adjustments for revenue items using QuickBooks Classes
  • Fixed an issue with Billing record "Starting Year" in for future years in the Add a Member tool
  • Updated the Value on Investment threshold calculation for referral report settings
  • Fixed an error on Google + links in social media icons in WebLink Local
