Release Notice - 16.7 - 7/12/2016

As part of our commitment to excellence and customer success, we’re happy to announce several enhancements and improvements to WebLink Connect to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. As with previous releases, we will roll out these changes in stages beginning Tuesday, July 12.  All customers will have the release by Tuesday, July 19th.

Email Receipts from a Profile

We've gotten lots of great feedback on our Online Bill Pay automated receipt, which you can configure to be sent automatically any time a member pays an invoice in the Members Only Online Bill Pay screen. With this release, we've introduced that same quick and easy functionality to your back-end database! On the Transactions tab of any profile, send a receipt with just a couple clicks for any type of payment, including those processed manually. Click here for more information. 



Utilization Report - How are you doing?

A request we often hear from you, our valued clients, is a big-picture analysis of how well you are using the many features of your WebLink Connect database. As a result, we've added a new analytical report that shows you year-to-year comparisons of all of our primary member engagement tools, as well as how that data corresponds with growth in membership and revenue for each year. This report will help you identify which tools you are using most heavily to engage your members, and show you how that usage has changed over time. Click here for details on this report.


The Utilization Report is the first in a series of reports we will be introducing or updating throughout the rest of 2016, to help you better analyze your data and make good business decisions based on that data. 


Add a Member - Now with the ability to process an invoice and payment as you go!

Last month, we introduced our new "Add a Member" feature, streamlining the process of entering new members into your database. With this release, we've added another key feature to that process: adding an invoice and payment for the new membership. If you have Revenue access in your system, you'll now be able to quickly enter the new member's payment as a part of your overall process, saving you time and clicks. If you use our Membership Level Management system for setting up billing records, that new membership invoice will be set up by default to make your life even easier! Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

  • Updated the event registration process to auto-fill missing attendee information
  • Added the ability to post new member data to social media with a prompt in the Add a Member feature
  • Added a duplicate profile checker to the Add a Member feature
  • Corrected an error some clients reported rendering certain WebLink Local pages
  • Other minor fixes
