As part of our commitment to excellence and customer success, we’re happy to announce several enhancements and improvements to WebLink Connect to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. As with previous releases, we will roll out these changes in stages beginning Tuesday, May 10. All customers will have the release by Tuesday, May 17.
Profile Selector Configuration Options
The Profile Selector is one of the most-used tools in WebLink Connect, allowing you to run dozens of different searches and export your data - and now it's better than ever! With this release, you can configure the Profile Selector to only display the columns of data that you find most useful for your organization, including many newly-available fields such as Related Organization, Member Since Date, Amount Due, Last Event Attended, and so much more! In addition, we've added several new search options to the Profile Selector, such as the ability to search for Membership Level in the Profile Info tab, and the ability to search for related profiles by specific Relation Types.
Set Billing Contact for Organizations
A new field on the Related Profiles tab in the Profile Browser allows you to indicate which related profile is the Billing Contact for an organization. When a Billing Contact is set, all invoices for that profile will be created with an "Attention" of that Billing Contact. In addition, when emailing invoices from the Invoice Selector, the Billing Contact's email address will be used to send the invoice notification and link. In addition, you can now check/uncheck any of the editable relation settings on the Related Profiles grid, and right-click to save all changes - including setting the Main Contact, Receives Communication, and Editor flags.
Related Revenue Items: Rebalance
Last month we released a few updates to our "Optional" revenue items, and we are adding even more new features this month. In addition to creating related revenue items that allow your members to pay additional, voluntary amounts, you can now create "Rebalance" items that will redistribute funds for those contributions, break down lump sum dues payments, and/or split a member's payment into separate line items behind the scenes. - Added Membership Level auto-assign functionality to online Profile Update Form acceptance
- Added the ability to create Member Activities when adding a profile to a Membership Level
- Fixed an error when using "Midnight" and "Noon" as times in Promo Code expiration dates
- Added changes made to profiles in WebLink Browser version to audit trail reporting
- Added Preferred Method of Billing field to Data Export/Reporting Tool views
- Fixed an issue with Adjustment Date when dropping members whose invoices are not yet due
- Fixed an issue with Add Related Profiles to Dataset right-click options in Related Profiles grid
