Release Notice - 16.2 - 2/9/2016

As part of our commitment to excellence and customer success, we’re happy to announce several enhancements and improvements to WebLink Connect to help you manage your organization more efficiently and effectively. As with previous releases, we will roll out these changes in stages beginning Tuesday, February 9.  All customers will have the release by Tuesday, February 16.

Note: With this release, you may see a message informing you of a system upgrade that will be necessary for you to launch WebLink Connect. Please click here to read more about this important update.

Member Drop Automation

One of our most requested system enhancements is a way to streamline the process of dropping members. With this release, we are pleased to announce the long-awaited member drop automation! Our new Drop Action Settings screen allows you to tell the system what specific actions you would like completed when you drop a member profile, including inactivating billing records and listings, writing off invoices, inactivating committee members, and more. Once you've configured your drop settings, you can uncheck a profile's Member checkbox and sit back and relax while the system does all the work! In addition, we've added an option to allow you to batch drop members for nonpayment of dues (or other invoices that you indicate). After a certain number of days of non-payment (determined by you), the member will appear in the new "Drop Members" interface for you to drop in a batch with just a single click. Click here to learn how to set up your Batch Drop Settings, and click here for more details on using the Drop Members batch interface.

In addition to these time-saving features being delivered with February's release, we will continue to add more configuration options and features like the ability to "undo" the drop process in the coming months.

Profile Browser Performance Enhancements

As a direct result of client feedback, this month's release includes some important performance enhancements that will allow you to open and work with multiple profiles in the Profile Browser with less load time and an overall faster workflow. You won't see any changes to the tabs you're used to, but you will notice an improvement in the time it takes to switch between tabs and load data.

Changes have been made in particular to the Related Profiles grid, which will load the list of related profiles independently of the other data in the profile to improve overall speed. You'll also notice a new column in the Related Profiles grid indicating whether the related profile is a member.
