DESKTOP: Emailing Committee Members

There are two primary ways to email Committee Members:

• From the Committee Members tab of a Committee
• From the Profile Selector

Follow these steps to use each method:

To Email Committee Members from the Committee Members Tab:

1. Open the Committee whose members you want to email (Committees > Select Committees). The Committee Selector window will open.
2. Click to highlight the Committee you want to work with and click Select. The Committee Main window will open.
3. Click the Committee Members tab
4. Highlight the row or rows of the Committee Members you want to email
5. Right-click and select Email Selected Committee Member(s). The Communicator window will open for you to generate your email. The Committee Members you highlighted will be listed in the Send To Data Grid.

To Email Committee Members from the Profile Selector:

1. Open the Profile Selector by going to Profiles > Select Profiles.
2. Click the Affiliation Code Info tab
3. Check the Committee Affiliations Only checkbox to reduce the Affiliation Codes listed in the drop-down menu to only those associated with a Committee.
4. Use the Affiliation Codes: Drop Down menu to select the Affiliation Code assigned to your Committee, then click the >> button to add that Affiliation Code to your search criteria
5. Click Preview. The Data Grid will fill with the profiles marked Active on your Committee; Inactive Committee Members will be excluded.
6. Right-click in the Data Grid and click Select All to highlight all of these profiles.
7. Right-click in the Data Grid and select Email Selected Profiles. The Communicator window will open for you to generate your email. The Committee Members you highlighted will be listed in the Send To Data Grid.
