Report Overview

The Profile Listing report is a simple way to retrieve a listing of profiles based on Profile Report Names. Profile Listings can be helpful when auditing or updating your profile records. Listings can also be a great asset when providing information to third parties.

How to run this report:

From the File Menu, choose Reports > Profile Reports > Profile Listing. You will be prompted for report parameters.

Report Parameters

Parameters are useful objects to include in your Crystal Reports. They can be used for record selection, conditional formatting, or in calculations. Parameters can make a simple Report much more flexible by allowing user interaction.

String

The parameter in this report allows you to choose a range of profiles to include in your Profile listings.

The Start Range and End Range are basically asking for starting letter alphabetically you’d like the profiles to start with and the End Range is the ending letter. For example to list all profiles “A – E” you would enter “A” in the Start Range field and “E” in the End Range and then click on “Add Range” and then “Ok” at the bottom to run the report. This report uses the Report Name for sorting as seen on the General Tab.
