Cause: Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10 | icon pinned to the taskbar. Pinning the icon to your Task Bar can prevent the system from being able to update itself automatically.
Resolution:
1. Close WebLink Connect (MC Trade)
2. Right-click on the WebLink Connect (MC Trade) icon in your taskbar and select Unpin from Taskbar
3. Press CTRL + ALT + Delete on the keyboard and then click on Task Manager
4. Highlight End Task on all instances of WebLink (it's named (WebLink_WPF)
5. Launch WebLink Connect (MC Trade) and it will run the update.
