What information is passed from MC Trade to Higher Logic?
When activated, Higher Logic is able to read all Profile data through an XML API, including every Profile's general contact information and Members Only Portal Username and Password. You may be able to configure what data to used and displayed in Higher Logic by working with your Higher Logic account manager.
As your Profiles request log in and edit their own Profile information on the Higher Logic site, they are automatically routed to the MC Trade Profile Update areas, which then pass that information back to Higher Logic once you approve the changes.
What data is passed from Higher Logic to MC Trade?
None. It is only a one-way integration.
How do I enable this integration?
Activating the integration between MC Trade and Higher Logic requires purchasing the functionality from MC Trade and purchasing a license from Higher Logic. Both requirements may incur an additional cost from MC Trade (depending on your package) and from Higher Logic. You should contact Higher Logic directly to inquire about purchasing a license.
What Configuration Settings are available in MC Trade?
None. All of your setting configurations regarding the integration are done within Higher Logic.
How do I determine which members get access to Higher Logic?
In Higher Logic you configure which Profiles are allowed to enter the site. Once configured, you will manage your Profiles accordingly in MC Trade so that Higher Logic knows which Profiles have the correct access credentials.
