We're making improvements!
Beginning in the month of April, MemberClicks will be upgrading the servers that host each customer site and database to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This migration is an important step in providing Atlas customers with the best system architecture and capacity. AWS is a public cloud provider and already hosts all of the MemberClicks products. Atlas is the final one to move to AWS, which will allow us to support you and your data with the most efficient, modern, and transparent technology available.
So what does this mean for you?
Starting in April 2020 and continuing for the next several months, each customer will be upgraded to the new AWS server by our engineering team. The migration will take place overnight, with an anticipated 10-60 minutes of downtime around the hours of midnight - 2:00 AM. After the migration is complete, all website pages, database applications and related functions will be completely restored to normal operations. No changes to your URLs, user interface, or data will occur.
Note that if you have not logged out of the desktop application the night before your system is upgraded, you may see errors when attempting to navigate through the system or change profiles after the upgrade is complete. Simply closing and re-opening the database will solve the problem. This is not an issue for the browser version.
Over the course of the next few months as all customers are upgraded and the new server is optimized, you should notice an overall improvement in system responsiveness and much less time spent waiting for "slow" periods of time in the desktop application. This is a result of our new ability to properly allocate our server resources in the areas that need them most, WHEN they need them most. We'll be constantly monitoring the product's performance and optimizing it for you!
