Recently, Personify (MemberClick's parent company) debuted a new look, logo, and website, a change that signals Personify’s strategic focus on building relationships – both with our customers and across their member communities.
As we introduce all the products that Personify now offers to clients who may not be familiar, we’ve changed some of our product names to clarify who would typically use them and for what purpose.
We have renamed the MemberClicks’ Oasis product to MC Professional and MemberClicks’ Atlas product to MC Trade. This doesn’t mean that we don’t and won’t have a variety of organization types using MC Professional or MC Trade beyond professional and trade associations and chambers of commerce. These two products will continue to serve a variety of organizations’ needs. Our team will continue to direct clients to the AMS product that best meets their needs regardless of product name or organization type.
As an Atlas/MC Trade user, you will see this change reflected in the product you use starting next week.
Our product name change will in no way negatively impact your experience with the products and services that you enjoy at MemberClicks. On the contrary, our intent is to ensure that your product experience improves as we continue to enhance MC Professional and MC Trade. We hope that you’ll also consider using additional products integrated with MC Trade and MC Professional to improve your member engagement and increase your organization’s revenue.
As far as the Atlas (now MC Trade) product goes, the only thing changing is the name! Nothing will change about your login process, the desktop or browser versions, or your public web pages outside of the product name.

Q: But... why?
A: We know that change can be disruptive, and we didn't make this decision lightly! As a company, Personify is working hard to help you manage and grow your community through a wide portfolio of products. We want to ensure MC Trade is clearly identifiable as key AMS product in that portfolio for trade, chamber, and organization-based membership associations. As one of our valued existing customers, we know that you already know who we are and that clarification might seem unnecessary, but it will help us focus and clarify our product value. We'll try to make this change with as little confusion as possible for you, which leads to the next question...
Q: What will change?
A: About your day to day use of the software? Nothing! On the login screen, you'll now see the Personify - MC Trade logo, and once you log in, you'll see the "Atlas" label in the upper left replaced with the "MC Trade" product name. Nothing else about the display, workflows, or data has changed.
Q: Do I need to do anything?
A: If you have the atlasams.com login page bookmarked, you'll want to update that to mctradeams.com starting next week. But don't fret - if you haven't done that yet or you forget, atlasams.com will work just fine and redirect you automatically to the right place for the foreseeable future, so you're good!
Q: Will I still see "Atlas" anywhere?
A: Yes. In the desktop version, the icon for the shortcut will remain as the Atlas/MemberClicks logo for the near future. You may even see WebLink in the desktop in some places (the software's original name), as updating the actual installed desktop application on your computer can sometimes require special handling, and we don't want to disrupt your workflow, so no name changes will be forced other than on a fresh install. We'll take some more time to slowly update these items in a way that is as unobtrusive as possible, so look for further updates in future months.
